GRIT stands for Growing, Revitalizing, Investing & Teaching

COWBOY GRIT, INC., is a non-profit corporation organized in the State of Nebraska in 2010. Originally set up to help establish and operate a student-run grocery store now known as the Circle C Market, COWBOY GRIT, INC. remains a non-profit, tax exempt organization which is continuing its mission to promote, aid and encourage the well-being and quality of life for residents of the local communities.

Goals of COWBOY GRIT, INC. include the economic development of local communities and the support and facilitation of educational needs, opportunities, services, activities and facilities available to students and families served by the Cody-Kilgore School District. As a public benefit corporation which has been granted tax exempt status pursuant to section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, contributions made to this organization qualify as deductible under section 170 of the Code, and further qualifying such organization to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under relevant sections of the Code.
